The 39th Pilar de la Horadada Anniversary Tournament Raises €7,820 for Pilar TEA at Lo Romero Golf
This Saturday, Lo Romero Golf hosted a very special event: the 39th Pilar de la Horadada Segregation Anniversary Tournament, held to commemorate this significant occasion, brought together 92 players for a day of sport filled with excitement and social commitment.
Thanks to the generosity and participation of everyone involved, the tournament raised €7,820, with all proceeds donated to the local association Pilar TEA, which supports individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families.
The organizers also wished to highlight the outstanding work carried out by the club’s staff, especially the maintenance team, who ensured the course was in excellent condition despite the heavy rainfall experienced the previous Thursday.
During the prize-giving ceremony, Mr. Victoriano Jiménez, General Manager of Lo Romero Golf, emphasized the club’s commitment to the local community:
“At Lo Romero Golf, we believe that sport should go hand in hand with solidarity. We are a passionate and committed community, always attentive to the social needs of those around us.”
The event also featured speeches from the Mayor of Pilar de la Horadada, who thanked the club for its continued commitment to the municipality, and a representative of Pilar TEA, who expressed gratitude for the generosity of the participants and highlighted the human spirit that defined the event.
